Every product sold by Tech Trade Group undergoes inspection, testing and verification prior to sale. Our quality control and grading standards help ensure customers receive reliable technology that matches its advertised condition.
Our Quality Control Process
All products undergo inspection and testing before being listed for sale and again prior to dispatch where applicable.
- Visual inspection for physical damage and defects.
- Functional testing of key hardware components.
- Verification of specifications and configuration.
- Testing of displays, ports, connectivity and charging.
- Confirmation of advertised condition and description.
- Final inspection before packaging and dispatch.
Product Grading Standards
To provide transparency regarding cosmetic condition, products may be assigned a grade prior to sale.
Like New
Our highest condition tier. No refurbishment has been required, the device has been checked and verified, battery health is above 90% where supported, and the product still includes its original box where applicable.
Grade A
Excellent refurbished condition with minimal to no visible signs of use. Fully functional and professionally tested.
Grade B
Very good condition with minor cosmetic wear, light scratches or small marks. Fully functional and tested.
Grade C
Good condition with noticeable signs of use, moderate scratches, scuffs or cosmetic imperfections.
Grade D
Fair condition with significant cosmetic wear. Suitable for customers prioritising functionality over appearance.
Battery Standards
- Battery health is tested where supported by the manufacturer.
- Devices are guaranteed to have a minimum battery health of 75% at the time of sale.
- Like New devices require battery health above 90% where battery health reporting is supported.
- Devices below the required threshold are refurbished, disclosed or removed from sale.
Steal Deal Marker
Products marked as a Steal Deal are selected because they offer especially strong value compared with similar refurbished technology. This marker refers to value, not condition, and may apply to products across different grades.
Packaging & Dispatch Verification
Before shipment, products undergo a final verification process to confirm:
- Correct product selection.
- Required accessories are included where applicable.
- Secure packaging suitable for transport.
- Accurate customer and shipping details.
- Tracking information is generated upon dispatch.
